> What do the all the letters under 'ESM' mean in
the Outpost Alert Lists?
This is the grid-reference on the Strategic Maps to make it quick and
easy for you to find the outpost systems. (Some regions are getting
crowded with outpost icons after all).
> How often is Outpost Alert data updated?
Every week. When site upgrades are being done, then a week is skipped. You can see the current update and history of updates here
> How is the "Weeks Controlled" column useful to me?
It provides an idea of the stability of the alliances control of the outpost, and provides an answer to the question of how establish the alliance is in 0.0.
A large number of weeks held doesn't necessarily mean it will be difficult to conquer, but it may means the alliance has a lot of POS and assets there.
> How is the "Weeks Controlled" column calculated?
This is calculated as the number of weeks since the first reported date the outpost being conquered. For outposts that have never been conquered since Outpost Alert started, the date 14 July 2006 is used (date of site launch).
> My alliance has held the outpost longer than shown!
At the moment, if you swapped an outpost between corporations in your alliance, the start date used is the date the current corporation held the outpost. This is also the case if you switch alliances with your corporation. (This needs to be fixed.)
